Not Included · Prepare for These
So there are no surprises, these are the costs that are yours and are not covered by the franchise fee.
Rent
You secure and pay for the space. We will help you assess whether it is a good one before you sign with the landlord.
Permits and licences
Business permit, sanitary permit and whatever else your city or municipality requires. We will guide you through the list, but you file and pay for them.
Crew wages
You are the employer of your crew. Wages and the obligations that come with them are yours.
Electricity and water
Your branch's monthly cost. Remember that the operation runs 24 hours.
Working capital
Funds for the first months while sales are still stabilising. This is what first-time owners forget most often.
Subsequent supply orders
After the opening stocks, you order supply from HQ through the portal.
Renovation or fit-out
If the space needs changes before the unit can be installed.
How We Protect Your Area
Before a new branch is approved we assess its distance from nearby branches, the population of the area, and traffic flow. The point is to stop two Papa Burger branches competing for the same customers.
The exact scope of protection is written into your contract before you sign.
Site evaluation criteria
- 1Distance from the nearest existing branch
- 2Population and household density of the area
- 3Traffic flow, day and night
- 4The type and size of the space itself
